Tales of the Fedora

It’s about that time again, so here I go again with another rambling update.

Work is rough. Go figure. I still can’t sleep regularly. After a week of fitful sleep, I took a sleep aid and slept all day Saturday, waking up just in time to go to work. Sunday was my usual routine of church, then hanging around during the afternoon, videotaping some of the setup for The Judgement and finally the evening service. Afterwards, having spent another 24 hours awake, I came home and slept fitfully once more.

In what little free time I have, I’ve made some nice progress on the Personal Video Recorder I’ve been building. It originally started as a pet project to watch television in the limited space of where I used to live, but it’s been quite handy, as well as providing an opportunity to learn more about Linux.

The majority of my tight-deadline video projects are now complete. I’ve got just a couple more to go, and some DVDs to make, then I just might find myself with a bit of free time. Whatever shall I do?

Well, that’s it. I’m going back to bed.
