It’s a New Post

Bowing to intense pressure, I’m making a new post.

My ordeal with car repairs is becoming quite costly — nearly double my original estimates. I’ve got a rental, though, so I’m not stranded. It’s a nice car, but I miss mine.

I’ve talked with Trey since our screenwriting challenge. He’s conceded defeat, even though I’m fine with us scratching the prize element. In my view, it was a writing exercise to get us back to writing out ideas and stretching our creativity. The prize and the deadlines were just incentive. However, he’s offered to buy me a book on independent film making by a fellow that used to work for Industrial Light and Magic.

My next step with the screenplay is revision — which it badly needs. After that, who knows.

I’ve had some ideas for various projects; some for the church, others for independent projects. I’d really like to get to those, and hopefully I’ll be able to find the time and motivation.

This time of year is always rather difficult. Certain holidays still creep up; though I have to say that this year wasn’t too bad. I spent yesterday afternoon with some friends in a similar circumstance. After lunch we all went bowling; which despite my aversion to sports wasn’t terribly unpleasant. The most enjoyable being our formation of a human circuit to light up some little LED ice cubes we were all given.

I have mixed thoughts on the end of this month. On one hand it’s an unpleasant anniversary; however, due to that circumstance, I’ve arranged to take the week off work. This will be my first vacation time used and I’m anxiously looking forward to that.

If you need an actress, I am here. I can be a friend, too. Either or both. Your pick.

  2. Ryan Says:

That’s an easy pick, then … BOTH!

  3. Immortal Says:

    Ditto to what BBuddy says

If you’re making the same assertions, then my answer is also the same.
    Both.
I seem to be in the early stages of assembling an acting troupe of beautiful women. How did I manage that?
