Tales of the Fedora

It’s been quite a day … going on 28 hours already and showing little signs of stopping soon.

The relevant parts:

• Overtime at work. Verdict: Good.
  The delivery was two hours late, meaning I was behind schedule. Overtime means more money, even if my time is worth a lot more than time and a half.

• Computer problems at the church. Verdict: Very Bad.
  What I hoped was a simple 10 or 15 minute fix turned into four and a half hours of tedium and frustration. Now I’m back to the drawing board.

• Served with a subpoena for witness. Verdict: Unknown.
  I’m not under investigation, I’m just required to be in court 9 a.m. Monday morning just in case they call me to the stand. Once again, I’m not in trouble, this is in relation to another issue that is outside the scope of this forum.

• Unfortunate family news. Verdict: Rage.
  Nothing more needs to be said about it, I’m just really angry about this.

I’ve got some ideas on those suggestions; a heartfelt Thank You to all who chimed in. Look for that update in the next few days, maybe as late as next week — depending on how things fare.
